Troutdale Elementary School

Bremik Construction replaced an 88-year-old school with a 72,000 sf, two-story building with the capacity for more than 500 students. The new facility had six commons areas connected to four classrooms dedicated to each grade. The scope of work also included a media center, cafeteria, covered outdoor and soft surface play areas, gymnasium, and hardscaping for parking. Troutdale Elementary School was the first of three to enroll in the Oregon Energy Trust’s Path to Net Zero initiative. The client’s 20% DMWESB utilization goal was exceeded with 41.5% total participation.
