Pilot House & Bookstore

The 16,000 sf Pilot House was renovated into a social space that caters to the University of Portland student population and community. The 340-seat dining area now has a sports bar atmosphere with garage doors that open to a newly added patio with outdoor seating and heaters. The building’s entry was extended outwards, expanding the existing bookstore and lounge area. Other additions included a new commercial kitchen, a new roof, and upgraded interior finishes throughout. The Pilot House is also home to Mack’s Market, an on-campus convenience store for the UP community.
