    Project Manager

    Project Manager

    Manages project and project team to ensure projects are constructed within the budget and schedule and to the quality standards of Bremik Construction. Fosters project team relationships and the development of their direct reports.

    Specific Job Skills Required:

    • Is detail oriented and analytical

    Project Engineer

    Project Engineer

    Integral part of a Project Management Team. Works closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Project Administrator in the management, coordination and documentation of the Company’s projects. Is developing skills and experience to progress to Assistant Superintendent/Assistant Project Manager.

    Specific Job Skills Required:

    • Project knowledge – knows the project scope, approach and details as well as the Project Superintendent
    • Is detail oriented and analytical
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Developing leadership skills
    • Developing confidence in making sound decisions in a timely manner
    • Commitment to the success and growth of Bremik Construction
    • Basic understanding of project scheduling, specifically understanding critical path activities
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project, and Vista

    Education/Experience Required:

    • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Management, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent industry specific experience

    Project Superintendent

    Project Superintendent

    Responsible for all on‐site project supervision and management, development of overall project approach and schedule, documentation and coordination of all project activities to ensure projects are safely constructed within the given budget and schedule, all to the quality standards of Bremik Construction.

    Education/Experience Required:

    • College education is an asset
    • Minimum: Journeyman Carpenter, Foreman and Assistant Superintendent experience

    Safety Summer Internship

    Bremik Construction is looking for a junior or senior in the Safety and Health Management (SHM) program for a summer 2023 internship. This internship is Monday through Friday in Portland, Oregon. During this internship, students will be going to multiple jobsites to learn and identify hazards, perform job audits, write incident reports, present trainings, attend management meetings, and be exposed to a variety of leadership roles. As an intern, you will be mentored by the Safety Manager and Safety Director.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform and document jobsite inspections and audits with emphasis on recognizing hazards and unsafe behaviors, while assessing workers’ compensation losses.
    • Assist in the preparation and performance of safety meetings and training programs to ensure effective communication of company policy and safety standards.
    • Participate in regulatory agency inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
    • Participate in safety committee meetings and engage with colleagues.
