Christenson Electric – Headquarters Renovation and Addition

The renovation of Christenson Electric Headquarters, spanning 25,400 sf, involved reconfiguring the office layout and expanding the existing one-story building by 850 sf. The updated layout accommodates a post-pandemic workforce, featuring reorganized office areas and the introduction of a 50+ seat training room and versatile collaboration zones. The expansion incorporated a fresh entryway, lobby space, conference room, and the establishment of an outdoor courtyard linked to the new breakroom area.

The design-build delivery method enabled this dynamic project to overcome many supply chain challenges by implementing creative solutions to create modern office spaces. Additionally, this project was completed in two phases to allow the 60 occupants to continue daily operations throughout construction, which was completed at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
