Timber Ridge Apartments

The eight building affordable housing community sits upon a 4.8 acre site that influenced the design that’s intended to create strong outdoor connectedness with gardening, recreational areas, accessible paths, and intergenerational community living. There are 82 homes totaling 90,800 sf within eight wood-framed buildings with different design options for one- to four- bedroom units. The 7,000 sf community center includes a large multimedia room.

The project was built to International Living Future Institute (ILFI) Zero Energy Certification Standards. Increased sustainability measures included strict air sealing requirements, requiring increased insulation, advanced framing, superior air sealing, and high performance windows.
