Parrish Middle School Renovations
The 102,500 sf remodel of Parrish Middle School included a full seismic retrofit and interior restoration to match the existing historic finishes. The project also consisted of updated classrooms and created a new entrance with a secure vestibule. The science classrooms were renovated into three modern labs, requiring the relocation of office spaces to the north end of the school. A corridor was built to connect the north and south ends of the school. The library also received new windows and seismic upgrades were made to the auditorium, commons, main gym, library, and original classroom wing. All architectural and seismic upgrades were phased to allow for completion during school hours with minimal impacts.
