East Gresham Elementary School
The Elementary school replacement project included the demolition of the 57-year-old school and construction of a 76,000 sf, two-story facility built with tilt-up concrete and steel. The school includes 24 classrooms, flexible learning spaces, a media center, music room, cafeteria, covered outdoor play area, gymnasium, and parking. Located adjacent to the new school building is a 3,900 sf metal covered outdoor hard surface play area and play structure. Additionally, a 5,000 sf soft surface playground structure was erected adjacent to the covered play area.
Bremik Construction self performed the concrete and interior finish carpentry. Permitting was delayed by two months, but the project was delivered on time regardless.
