Bremik Construction built new headquarters for the National Center for Grieving Children and Families to replace a building destroyed by an arson fire in 2009. Scott Edwards Architecture designed the new Dougy Center to resemble the large, beautiful home it replaced. The first floor included a lobby with fireplace, kitchen with built-in nook, and seven common spaces with unique design themes meant to entertain children of all ages. The upper level now provides office space for the employees of The Dougy Center.
