Tualatin City Services

The Tualatin City Services Building project included a 9,700 sf, one-story addition and a renovation of the existing 6,100 sf administration building. The new, wood-framed structure enhanced the operations facility, providing extra office space for various departments such as community development, engineering, building, and municipal court. Additionally, the project involved upgrading MEP and structural elements of the existing building to accommodate the expanded administrative office. The renovation process was carefully phased to ensure the office building remained operational throughout the construction period.

Construction began in early 2020, right as the coronavirus pandemic began. Our team collaborated closely with the project team to adjust the schedule in response to pandemic-related delays. We diligently monitored scheduling and safety issues throughout the construction period. Moreover, we ensured the continued operation of various utility systems and maintained 24/7 access to the fueling station. Despite these challenges, the project was completed on time and under budget.
