Grand Central Baking, one of the city’s premiere bakeries, moved their Northwest Portland location into a sustainably designed, adaptive reuse of an old metal casting shop. The space is now used for corporate offices, the central bread bakery, and café.

People now get to enjoy the fresh bread and outside patio eating space.  To support the community, timber from a local warehouse was used in constructing the new storefronts, stairs and interior millwork.
