Fechheimer and White Building Renovation
The four-story, 10,900 sf Fechheimer and White Building seismic upgrade and interior improvements included a new floor opening between the first and second floors, stair and guardrail revisions, and the replacement of doors, hardware, and interior finishes. Additional tenant improvement scope was added to reconfigure the existing office spaces on the third and fourth floors, updating the plumbing structures and adding new walls, doors, and casework.
Originally built in 1885, the Fechheimer and White Building is known as one of the city’s most elegant cast-iron front-buildings. The improvements completed here helped create a full block of carefully restored historic buildings in the Skidmore-Old Town Historic District.
