Brush College Elementary School, Remodel
The 52,200 sf remodel of the Brush College Elementary School included new flooring, select roof replacements, music room improvements, expanded wireless capacity, extensive lighting and low voltage work along with restroom plumbing and partition upgrades. Additionally, scope included removing old portables and laying of the foundation for updated portables.
Brush College Elementary School is the oldest building in the Salem-Keizer Public School system and was maintained through multiple rounds of additions and renovations. With little as-built information, a site investigation was required prior to construction. The investigation revealed a need for a more thorough abatement plan and details to help retrofit existing systems. We worked collaboratively with the team of owner’s representatives and architect to resolve issues as they arose.
