Barbara Roberts Career & Technical Education Center (BRCTEC)

The Sheridan School District purchased an industrial property and associated buildings adjacent to an existing high school campus to provide career technical education and training for high school students in the Sheridan and surrounding districts. The 26,000 sf CTE center will offer programs in truck driving, manufacturing/welding, fire/EMT training, and agribusiness. The career pathways were selected based on Oregon employment data, leading to a living wage job, and employee demands from our local industries. The center will also undergo a seismic upgrade and include associated administrative and support spaces.
